Almanzia Republic

The Almanzia Republic was yet another short-lived joke micronation founded by Ash Almanza, this time he was in freshman year of high school. The Almanzia Republic was based on the right half of the school's amphitheater. The Almanzia Republic lasted shorter than the Republic of Toiletstein, but had a capital city, flag, and Declaration of Independence somehow. The capital city was named "Ultrakolis," which was named after the videogame Ultrakill created by New Blood. The flag of the Almanzia Republic was heavily inspired by the "Irish Republic" flag used during the Easter Rising / Rebellion.

Speaking of the Irish Republic flag, a few days later Almanza actually brought the Irish Republic flag to school and started waving it during lunch. This got the attention of a few people.

As mentioned earlier, the Almanzia Republic had its own Declaration of Independence, which reads:

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for a group of individuals to assert their rightful independence and establish their own sovereign nation, it is both their duty and their right to declare the causes which impel them to such a course of action.

We, the people of the right half of the amphitheater at (REDACTED) High School, endowed with a collective desire for self-governance and the pursuit of liberty, do hereby declare the establishment of the Almanzia Republic. We proclaim our right to exist as an independent nation, seperate from the authority of (REDACTED) High School and any other external entities. With the capital city named Ultrakolis, we forge our path towards a future of freedom, progress, and self-determination.

We firmly believe that all individuals possess inherent and unalienable rights, including the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In the Almanzia Republic, these rights shall serve as the cornerstone of our society, guiding our laws and actions, and safeguarding the well-being of our citizens.

Recognizing that just governance derives its power from the consent of the governed, we establish a democratic system where every citizen shall have the right to participate in the decision-making processes that shape our nation. We vow to uphold the principles of fairness, equality, and justice, and to protect the rights and freedoms of all who call the Almanzia Republic their home.

As an independent nation, we affirm our commitment to peaceful coexistence and mutual respect with neighboring communities and nations. We shall seek to build and maintain diplomatic relations, fostering understanding, cooperation, and shared prosperity. We pledge to resolve disputes through peaceful means, promoting dialogue and reconciliation as we strive for a harmonoious world.

With independence comes responsibility. We recognize the importance of a robust and inclusive education system that empowers our citizens with knowledge, critical thinking, and creativity. We shall invest in the development of our infrastructure, economy, and social institutions, ensuring the well-being and progress of our people.

The capital city of Ultrakolis shall stand as a symbol of our unity and aspirations. It shall serve as a center of cultural, educational, and economic growth, reflecting the spirit and diversity of our nation. Together, we shall build a vibrant and inclusive capital that embodies the values of the Almanzia Republic.

We extend an invitation to all individuals who share our vision of liberty, justice, and equality to join us in this noble endeavor. In witness whereof, we, the undersigned, representatives of the Almanzia Republic, do hereby affix our signatures to this original Declaration of Independence, on this day, the fifteenth of May, in the year two thousand and twenty-three.
